Shooting personal portfolio work is one of the must fun things ever! Mike Tittel has been a large influence in my life to push for shooting personal work. I've always been shooting assignments/jobs always having to worry about getting a shot you think your client wants you can focus your full attention to what you want to get, and it takes a lot of stress out of everything. Before this shoot even started I wanted to just have fun during the shoot and i think you can tell that in the photos bellow.

A while back I posted a blog about focusing in on what I want to shoot, this is definitely more my style with sports, well maybe not the water. Publicly announcing personal goals for your work is scary but I want to say it now, in one year I hope to be shooting for an athletic department for a college and/or taking assignments for college focused magazines.
